Suzanne LaLande, PA-C

Physician Assistant

Suzanne La Lande was originally born and raised on the beautiful island of Guam, a tiny 30-mile-long U.S. territory in the middle of the Pacific Ocean. She comes from a long line of healthcare workers (her mom, brother, and sister are all nurses!) and has always felt the desire to provide compassionate and comprehensive care through the art and practice of medicine.

She completed her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology with a minor in Biology at the University of Guam in 2014, where she was awarded the honor of Magna Cum Laude. Prior to graduate school she worked as a CNA in Medical Telemetry for 2 years, where she first began to cultivate the spirit of care known locally as “inafa’maolek” — taking care of each patient as if they were a precious member of our own family.

She graduated from Oregon Health & Sciences University with her Master’s in Physician Assistant Studies in 2018, which at the time was ranked the top 5th program in the nation. She unexpectedly fell in love with the specialty of urology following her clinical rotations and has been happily working in the field since then, serving the Southern Oregon and Northern California community at Rogue Valley Urology (Medford branch).

She joins the Bend location with over 6 years of clinical experience in general urology, urologic oncology, urogynecology, men’s sexual health as well as robotic, laparoscopic, open and reconstructive surgery. Coming from a rural area herself, she understands the difficulty with finding timely access to care and hopes to bridge the gap for patients — all while working collaboratively as one united team together with Dr. Neeb and Dr. Johnson-Mitchell.

In her free time, Suzanne enjoys weight training, aerial and pole fitness, cooking delicious meals, gardening, volunteering at The Giving Plate and exploring her new stomping grounds together with her husband and pup — a silly long-haired dachshund named Winston. She is excited to join the team and can’t wait to bring her friendly island spirit to Central Oregon!
